Welcome to Beach Haven Scout Group website. Beach Haven Scouts is a large, family focused group based on the north shore of Auckland, New Zealand. We are a joint land and sea scout group and do both land and sea based activities. We are very outdoors based and hold many camps and sleepovers each year and spend most sessions outside rather than inside doing craft.
Beach Haven Scout Group covers ages 5-18 in the following sections:
- Keas (school years 1-3) 5.30-6.30pm Mondays and Thursdays and from 5-6pm on Tuesdays
- Cubs (School years 4-6) 6-7:30pm Mondays, 6.30-8pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- Scouts (School years 7-10) 7-9pm Mondays and Thursdays
- Venturers (School years 11-13) 7-9pm Thursdays
Scouts and Venturers use our Boat shed next to Beach Haven wharf on Larkins Landing during Terms 1 and 4 and start from 6.30pm to 9pm. During Terms 2 and 3 we operate out of our Rambler Cres Den.
Our Keas do 1 night and Cubs do 2 nights during Terms 1 and 4 on the water Kayaking and the rest of the time are at our Rambler Cres Den.
